Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with the details you give us when you use our energy check or door designer, or ask us for a quote. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Glaze Home Improvements Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16731720), 88 Wilton Road, Manchester M8 4PJ. We decide how your information is used, so we are the "controller" under UK data protection law.

What we collect
- Your name, home address, postcode, phone number and email address.
- Your answers on our website: what work you're interested in, whether you own the home, and any door design you send us.
- Your home's energy rating and recommended improvements, taken from the public GOV.UK energy performance certificate register when you look up your postcode.
- The date and time you gave consent to be contacted.
We don't ask for bank details, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies on this page.
Why we use it, and our legal basis

Who we share it with
- Our installers. Certified partner firms who carry out surveys and installations for us get the details they need to do the job.
- Our IT providers. Our customer records are stored with Supabase on servers in the EU (Ireland). Our website is hosted by IONOS.
We never sell your details or pass them to other companies for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead with any work, we delete your details 24 months after we last spoke to you. If you become a customer, we keep your records for 7 years after the work is finished, for guarantees, building regulations and tax.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- stop contacting you;
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law.
