Find your certificate
About this check
Certificates come from the official GOV.UK energy performance register. We look up the postcode, you choose your address, and we show what is recorded. We do not store your search.
Costs and savings on a certificate are estimates made when it was registered, and energy prices have changed since. A rating is a guide to running costs, not a measure of how comfortable the home is.
Questions
Why can't I find my home?
Only homes that have had an energy performance certificate since 2008 appear. Certificates last 10 years. New builds and recent conversions can take a while to show up.
Is my rating accurate?
It reflects what the assessor recorded on the day. Changes since then, such as new windows or loft insulation, are not included until a new certificate is lodged.
What do the bands mean?
A is the most efficient and G the least. The average home in England and Wales is in band D.
